This email was just sent out to everyone in our corporate HQ. Names changed to protect the innocent, etc...

Subject: Thievery Half Eatery

Good Afternoon.

I have a bit of information for you. Someone stole an employee’s lunch yesterday. There’s more. The thief ate half of it and put it back in the refrigerator.

This message is not to suggest that any of our employees are the culprits. This was actually an overnight “thievery half eatery”. What a shame!

I wanted to make you aware so that you can make an informed decision on whether you would like to store your food there or not.

Take care.

P.S. If you are hungry, perhaps your closest employee acquaintance can help you.

Please consider the environment before printing this message.

lol not uncommon. We had to setup a live cam to catch the culprits at work helping themselves to bottles of picante sauce. Video showed they were emptying our full bottles into a bottle of their own lol. Should have seen their faces when they were shown the video....fired on the spot.

Break room fridge/microwave/coffee etiquette is very important when it comes to trust of co-workers in a company. It may sound like something that isn't a big deal, but it would have infuriated me if someone touched my food. If you bring in a condiment and throw it in the door, I don't see it as a big deal that others use [not steal] it, but taking food or refilling their fridge at home is dastardly. Tar and feather!

Thats the only thing we didn't care about, was everyone using the condiments, it became the community condiment if it had no name on it.

Had this problem at my last job. I made "special" brownies and threw them in my lunch bag. Next day the delivery driver couldn't stay out of the bathroom.:evil2:

LOL. My dad had a problem like that with a company he used to work for. There was one woman who would just eat anything that was in the fridge, even if it was marked with someone's name. So he made this awesome-looking chocolate cake, and used about 1/2 bottle of XLax in it. Everyone else knew about it but her....needless to say, she ate a HUGE slice of it, and spent the next 2 days in the bathroom. She never touched food in the fridge again, LOL.

Yes this happens where i work, it's not poor people that need it either. Mostly kids who think it's funny (deadshits!).We also have a social club fridge that pays for our end of year grog but the scumbags were stealing the warm coke out of storage and drinking that so they didn't have to pay $1.00 for the cold coke. Very sad.....
