It's for going fast backwards! LOL. Seriously, I didnt see "rear" anywhere in the page. But $2600 seem excessive. ARZ's kit seems a lot more practical and cost effective.

:a whole lot of brake = $1,800 not to bad
: knowing you can give your mother in law whiplash by just hitting the brakes = priceless lol

The number of pistons isn't the deciding factor in the performance of a brake caliper. A caliper with fewer pistons can function more effectively if sized and designed correctly.

lol like hell u need 8 pistons for the rear

Those most definitely aren't rear brakes, it's a kit for the front.

IJ, play nice :) I wonder how much piston area there is on those calipers. There's at least a whole bunch more seals that can give out :p

Yeah cos more pistons are better........ :nono:

That 8 piston caliper has less surface area than most 4 piston calipers. It's like buying a digital camera, 8 megapixel doesn't tell you much over a 6MP unless you know other specs.

The idea with multi piston callipers is to get even pressure across the entire pad face, this is a great idea as long as the rest of the system is designed to match ie: Master size and pedal leverage as well as front/rear balance.

It's NOT a case of more = better and brakes are one area that needs some expertise/knowledge and not just bolting on the blingiest parts you can find.. :nono:
