Well, my 7m is overheating.

I checked he thermostat, it seems fine.
The radiator doesn't seem clogged, I can pour water through the top and it will immediately drain out of the bottom if left unplugged.

I took the top radiator hose off while the engine was running, other that the coolant in the hose, nothing came out. There was no steady flow of water.

My thoughts would indicate the water pump is dead, this make sense to anyone else? I've never seen one just go dead and stop pumping water though, can that happen?

Impeller failure. Never seen it on a stock waterpump with the stamped impeller, but the aftermarket waterpumps with the cast impeller I've seen failures...

Well I got the pump out and it seemed to looked ok, the bearing was making a squealing sound though. Is this a factory water pump? Does anyone think my oil looks milky?

Thats not the stock water pump, and no your oil doesnt look milky, but it does look extremely low..

That's what happens when you have a massive oil leak on the side of the block. Thanks for the help, I'll replace the pump and see what happens, hopefully that's the issue and it's not a clogged block.

Anyone got any ideas on how to check water flow through the block? I was thinking of using a garden hose.

RK is only 1 hard stop or corner away with the Oil that low....

Yep I know, I put some it it right after that. It had just drained a quart onto my garage floor after idling for a few mins.

Yeah it's pouring out from the plate on the exhaust side of the block that says "7m" on it. I'll pick up a gasket for it today.

Yeah... that's a high pressure spot that's off the oil pump. DON'T run the engine until it's fixed as you'll starve the motor of oil.
