ok let me explain wut happened the other day.
i get out of work, drop my coworker off at his house, then headover to mcdonalds. mind you the car was acting fine all day. i get to the mcdonalds, and ofcourse there is a freakin line, so im sitting waiting in line, bout a car from the ordering window, when i here a like a pop, it happened when the car in front of me move so i thought it was him. so i go to order and i notice the temp gauge start going up real fast. so i shut the car off(imagine how embarrasing), mind u its like 1 in the morn and dark ass crap, order my food,(thank god the guy took forever) turn the car on and pulled into a parkin space. looked at the gauge, saw it was readin normal temp. looked under the hood and everything looked fine. bout a block from my house the radiator lite comes on. thank god for good parkin by me. any way i shut the car off, popped the hood(of course couldnt see jack since its nite time) samething everything looked fine. check again in the morn. and ofcourse all the antifreeze is gone. i get that the pop sound must of been the antifreeze getting to hot or something, but my question is y would that happen. any help would be appreciated. and sorry for the long story

From the little information you gave I would guess a hose or the Rad.

I would start by checking all the hoses rad. Fill it back full a water and look for the leak, should be pretty easy to track down.

Chances are the HG isn't going to pop with you just sitting there letting it idle.

Hey guys thanxs for the replies, i took it to my mechanic and had him look at it. turned out to the thermostat getting stuck and the coolant reservoir boiling over. and yes the headgasket was replaced at 120000. so there was no smoke or anything. Also had him do the tune-up and have him make me a custom downpipe. so the car is running great. just thought i let u guys know
