Shifty deal but suck it up and swallow your pride. Instead of wasting money on a lawyer just save it for the 2j, or some machine work, head bolts and a gasket, if you need it for a dd.

Don't people know what contract is??

IJ...Priceless.

OK they asked for it! Call the local news guys and fill them in, chances are good they willl run it. Did they actualy tell you to go F yourself? At that point I would do "other" activities I won't mention on a public forum. In the end their bill would be 20x higher then mine.

A. Keep up the local pressure
B. See if they will throw in a used 7m. NA cant be too much iirc. There's a texas supplier iirc.
C. Move on and look forward to the 2jz

A clean exterior and interior is worth the 2k imo. NA isn't worth too much if you plan on keeping up.

I would just deal with it, they warned you that what you see is what you get and you agreed. Thats like buying something off of ebay and finidng that it breaks soon after you buy it. All sales are final and you know what you are setting yourself up for when you buy from places like this. If you really were worried about getting a quality car that works as you wanted it to you probably would have paid much more and gone to a big dealership with a large reputation. Of course, some people get lucky and some dont, just have to deal with the fact that you got screwed and not in an illegal way. I wouldnt blame the used dealership as hard as most of you are, how do you know that they were even aware of the problem? If you find stop leak in the coolant i could agree, but these guys go through cars steadily and probably dont do much to test them out. For all you know the person that sold it to them could have been the ones screwing everyone.

The mechanic told me to get some Blue Devil, anyone heard of it?

Definitely avoid. Ran the stuff in an old Civic a few years ago. It did a great job of sealing the HG leak; did a pretty good job of sealing off the head's coolant passages as well. Ended up burnining a hole in piston #3 after around 6500 miles. So the stuff does work in a pinch, just be sure you plan on junking the engine soon after; because Blue Devil will fix the head gasket and trash the engine.
