Orange O2 sensor..whats it mean

i was puting on the new DP and i took out the O2 sensor and it was Orange in color on the front part of it.. what would this mean?

I wouldnt worry. I mean its not like you use an o2 sensor to do a plug chop. start worrying if its white.

Just talked to one of my local guys here...

He states that orange on spark plugs or o2 sensors is

a.) Bad gas or some sort of additive in the gas

b.) A lean condition

i would guess octane booster? might wanna check your injectors too, some octane boosters are known to leave a reddish/orange build up.
