Options about working on my NA or not... turbo on the way

OK guys, I sitll have a few issues with my n/a (oil pan leak, re shim valves, valve seals, motor mounts)

I can go ahead and fix all these, or just say fuck it and drive it until I get the other $600 for my next car, an 87 Turbo 5 speed with a BHG... fix that and use that as my main car... I cant decide yet.. people keep telling me quit fixing the N/a and spend the rest and all of it on the turbo... what ya think?

I believe the turbo is. I know it needs new weatherstripping for the targa but overall turbo... I need to go over it longer and closer.... I just dont like the color but I planned on gutting it, painting it, and coloring the interior.. kinda all out...


I WAS thinking, turn the 2 cars into twins... one red on black and the other black on black with both having red interior lighting... I dont know yet lol.

Thats what some people were recommending... not 2 then huh.. I Was gonna make the n/a reliable DD and spend the next year building the turbo one.. bad idea? in Jan Im probably moving into a house with some buddies. $400/month rent and the rest is mine :)
