Optima Batteries, who's running them?

Running the Red Top. Just got it in April, so far so good.

I do know this, it was lighter than the old one that was in it. So, that's always a good thing right?
I really dont think you can go wrong with the Optima. Plus, they have a good warranty.

Well, technicly it IS a wet cell (it's just gel though), but it won't leak even if it's upside down, and the cases are made better...

As long as the regulator on the alternator DOSEN'T let it charge above 15v ;)
(they will vent and can splooge a little if on their side/upsude down)

Yeah, they have those little vents, but not like a normal battery.

I've had batteries swell and leak from age, had em leak around the terminals (in my supra...I was pissed).

For a while there Wal-Mart carried knock-off Optimas as well (think they might have been sued)
