LOL not me driving, that's my bf. I was taking video.

I don't have big enough balls to go drifting on a dirt road with a 100+ drop off, heh.

Either Vallium. a tripod or a camera with a gyro there shakey :D
LOL!

Here's a tip. Get a bolt that fits the tripod mount... tie a non stretchy string to it, measure from camera height to the ground, and tie a washer on the bottom.

Screw in the bolt, stand on the washer, and pull up until the string is tight.

End of shakiness. :D

Thanks guys.

Please don't get too caught up on the shakiness. I was trying to zoom in at the same time keep my balance, leaning on this tree that was leaning out over the 100 foot drop.

Also the batteries were dying so I had to keep the vids short, will get longer ones next time :)

If you lived closer I would take some vids for you.

Grim thats a cool cheap idea. I built my own "steadycam" mount back when I was in school that used a similiar principal with weights instead.

I dont know, for some reason I just cant "get into" drifting. I understand the concept, but I just dont see the fun in it. Maybe its because I was born and raised in the Motor City, and am surrounded by muscle cars and drag racing constantly. But props on the video and a very nice car btw! I could only imagine how nice it would look without all that dust on it.:icon_bigg

While again, that wasn't me driving, I am slowly getting into drifting myself. Never was into it because everytime I would try to slide my previous Supras, they were hard to control, kept wanting to do 180s and 360s and I was always scared of crashing.

My current car is far easier to control since it is lowered, if you left off the gas in a slide it straightens right back out, no problem. Also not having power steering helps a bit too. I very rarely "drift", usually just blip the gas in a turn when it is wet out to get a short, but fun slide, nothing retarded. Haven't tried it in the dirt/gravel yet as I think the car would be less controllable in it and I'd rather not go flying off a cliff

Tanya that has alot to do with the lower curb weight in the mk2 as well. I loved flipping my mk2 around corners and u-turns. Its a much more nimble car right outta the box imho.
