After spending all day replacing the water pump and thermo housing, I see that the plug for the CPS broke. After a short panic attack and a long frustrated attempt to research this I'm ready to quit. As of now it seems my only option is to connect each wire individually but my question is:

Which wires go together for the CPS? ex: white-green, ect.

All I need is a pic of the CPS wires and I should be able to figure it out. Any help would be greatly apprectiated

I would go look on my motor for you, but my car is a pre '89, and the wires colors/striping are different. Maybe someone with an '89+ car can confirm for you.

I know it's been posted before on the forums.

Edit: here's one of the posts:

Another thing you can do is look up the wire colors for each signal (there are four) and then match those wire colors using the TEWD to the appropriate signal from the CPS. :) All that's in the TSRM.

I'm not exactly sure, but I felt like searching tonight. Here's another that appears to be pre '89, though:

Thanks for all the research Shaef. I still can't find anything for 89+. Anyone out there have a 89+ that can verify the colors I'd really appreciate it. I'm so ready to be finished with this car!

Check the wire colors going to the ECU, and match them with the signal wires from the CPS. ;)

That definately seems feasible but I'm not confident enough to trust my own judgement on somethin like that. What sucks is its all finally put back together and I have to wait to hear from someone with an 89+ before I can start it to see if my block is cracked or not. PLEASE HELP GUYS!
