Only hitting like 7.5psi of boost.

I did a DIY boost leak detector a few days ago, and I found a boost leak on one of the couplers. So i replaced it.

I have a shimmed waste gate and a open 3" downpipe and I was hitting like 10psi. Since ive done the DIY boost leak i have only been getting like 7.5psi.

All my clamps are real tight and im also running hard pipes. So with the DIY boost leak method, will pressurizing the system too much cause the By Pass valve to leak? Could the bypass valve went bad when I pressurised the system with my compressor? Thanks

If it's the stock valve, then yes that's possible. Take it off and try to blow through it.

Given the results, you should know what to do.

Yes i tried that I blew thorough it and I felt only a tiny bit of air was going through, but it hardly noticiable. i blew though the inlet BTW, when i blew though the outlet no air blew through at all.
