Nobody but the DMV can find an address just from a plate #....that's why plates are able to be displayed out in the open....blurring out a plate is beating your dick against the wall!

And if there was a criminal that could hack into DMV files then I'm 99% sure it's not cars he is after!

This is actually a very good point i work in the insurance industry, and know that anyone who does work in this industry can litterly get every spec of information just from that tag number. Sure anyone walking down the street could take your plate number and do the same thing but its less likley. For just general safety especially if u have all that money into thoes cars its just some sort of precaution. i know i blur out all my plates even if its a stock ride because along with a licence plate comes an address and who wants their house broken into.
