Hello to all MKIII supra enthusiast! I used to be very active in this forum and I've been around since 2000. When I was active here I had never posted any pictures of my supra. Although I sold my supra back in 2007 and chose a different route I was looking through some old photos and found pictures of my MKIII. I thought I finally share it with everyone. There isn't anything special about it that makes it different from any other supra.

I had the car back in Sacramento, CA and moved to St. Paul, MN. I sold it in 2007 to a guy in Minneapolis,MN and he sold it to a guy somewhere in Wisconson. Whoever owns this supra now... somewhere in the midwest wether if it's MN or WI.., I like to see how it looks like...

I remember back in the early years when I started (1999), high pull and drag racing was very popular. I enjoyed it very much! weekly shoot outs at the sacramento raceway including some friday and sat. night illegal runs was a must. It became more then just a hobby. I was very passionate about it. I was a huge supra fanatic! I owned a MKII supra and 2 MKIII supra which later a good friend convinced me into selling my MKII supra to him and my brother crashing my 88 supra. I was left with the 89. Then in 2005, a friend of mine who live 2 hours away from me and used to be big into drag racing and highway pulls who owned a Corolla FX16 GTS. He stumbled upon "best Motoring" video and later introduced it to me. He did a lot of grip racing and soon left the drag scene. I was then introduced to it by him but was still leaning on what I liked most. Then in 2006 I decided to try autocross & time attack with my MKIII supra and I was in love. When I moved to MN and made new friends (old school toyota enthusiast) who was into grip racing. I drove their cars (Ae82 & AE92) and saw what I can do to those cars and compared to what I couldn't do to mines. I was quickly convinced and I felt in love with grip racing. Then I soon realize that I was really driving a car. So basically what I wanted to do, I couldn't perform with my MKIII supra. I soon bought a AE86 coupe and started my new journey. That is how I left the supra scene.

here is the ae86 I left for. This car was in the worst shape ever when I first bought it and the car needed a lot of attention, obviously the previous owner didn't care for the car and left it in the California hot sun to cook it. Now don't get me wrong, MKIII supras are great cars! I do it all over again... Here is is johnd.

*lol with suprasean* yea... so 92nsx, you and some friends are in the st cloud area. What kind of cars are you all running? And yes, I'm in the st. paul area and this summer at the autocross a couple of my friends and I will be out there. We all drive old school toyota and all work for Burnsville toyota, not that it matters but I interested to see you all when there is a meet up either at "Cars and Coffee" or at the autocross.

Welcome back to the forums. Good looking Supra and very nice looking 'Rolla. I had an '86 Coupe myself... handled like a go cart, but couldn't stay away from the Supra game.
