Old School HKS PFC F-CON

Like the title says I bought the car with the F-Con unit allready instaled, tried to find out what map/chip it is running took it appart to find it is running a D105 chip.
I did a little research found that there was 3 main chips used for these little buggers and the D105 dosn't seem to exist???:: angry ::

The car runs amazing and has great power so obviously there is no problem with the chip
Would just like to know what this chip is set for???
Anybody have any idea

isn't it for use with VPC ? (F-con + VPC + 550 injectors = D105)

These are the ones that come up
E164 for 550cc injectors
E155 for stock injectors
E105V for use with a VPC

Would they be different codes for US vs Jap???

As far as I know the D stands for D-type F-con and E for E-type F-con.

Your F-con should have a D on the back if it comes with a D-type rom.

The E and D types used different MAP sensors. I don't know if you can use an E-rom in a D-type F-con.

I asked that question a few months ago but never got an answer.

The E-typer is newer than the D-type.

I don't think I even have that code on it anymore there is one code TP8DB7 Or its TP8D137 (somebody had messy writing)
There is a D in that code but that dosn't tell us anything????
PS I don't have a VPC unless it is tucked away somewhere wich is unlikely.....

Hmmm ok Ill try to do a little more digging to figure this out
If this is the case and it has the chip to use with the VPC i find it a little odd that the car dosn't have it???

i dont think that the map are diffident cause i got 2 fcon a d and e rom fcon and both map worked fine
