I'm sure you could pick up the targa holders on here from a part out as you'll damage the targa with it in the back seat, and if you get into an accident it's not going to end well...

Also, it's a blowoff valve Wastegate is on the exhaust to control boost. Dial in the BOV and make sure it has a good vacuum signal and you should be fine. Surge will kill any turbo...

I think the yellow might grow on you if the paint was in good shape, just getting the bumpers and the fuel door resprayed to match would make the car look a lot better.

LOL it was late when i typed that didnt even realize I had said wastgate.(despite that wastegate statment I'm not a turbo noobie lol) Im not too worryed about the targa holders right now, and in the pics the paint looks ALOT nicer than in person, theres overspray on like ALL the plastic/moldings/ everything.. Very cheap paint job and very disliked color lol. First things to do are the daily driving issues like the key problem, and I want to start aquiring the OEM parts id like to replace( small stuff like a drivers sun visior, shift boot mounting plate type thing, another ashtray, 89+ Front bumper, tailights, 3pc spoiler, maybe mirrors, pretty decent sized list and there NO MK3s in the local pull a part yards) and I need to hurry and get the body parts so I can paint this thing and some wheels hopefully some 16x7 meshies off a crown vic(I LOOVE mesh style wheels) so I can get rid of these stockies, might replace all the seats in the car aswell, and I need floor mats, and i might have my spare LSD rear end rebuilt. and I want to get another cluster since the stock automatic one is in the car still,(previous owner swapped it to 5speed) and I have to get around to pulling all that ghetto fabulous purple tint off lol

It's still warm enough sometimes outside that if you find a patch of sunlight you could do the black trashbag and ammonia trick with the tint. It's still a giant pain but without some sort of help scraping it off is nearly impossible.

Oh and I have a 89+ parts car with just about everything you want still in it :icon_bigg

Never heard of the trash bag trick, I was gonna use a razor blade and some paint thinner or something to get rid of the residue, And man I swear Im workin on that list and as SOON as i finish going completely through the car and finding all the things i NEED to replace and the things i WANT to replace Ill send you the list so you can gimme a price lol, but yea man I appreciate it

BTW what kinda turbo and boost levels are you running to reach 270rwhp and 280rwtq? Man i bet thats a fun little car to drive(well not so much the little part these things are LOOONG but ride so nicely)

OK I'm tired of searching lol Does anyone have a real(non photoshopped) picture of the 16x7 Crown Victoria/Marquis wheels on a MK3? Im thinking about trying to pick up a cheap set but cant find any pics of them on a mk3 and Im not sure about what the offsets are on the wheels so I would like to make sure they are going to fit and look decent before I buy a set you know what I mean? Thanks in advance guys.

OMG thank you, your my new hero lol, Everyone keeps saying"the yellow looks good, It will grow on you, Fix the bad parts and leave it yellow" NO yellow is UGLY i would rather drive around in it being flourecent pink hahaha I do like mine especialy since all I have in it is a 500$ car that have had for 4 years(for sure got my money worth out of it) and a motor swap for that car that cost me around 400 bux that I had yet to put in

I'm doing it all on a stock CT-26 with mildy chipped blades =) 10 psi.

YAY I got the window tint off the front window yesterday, it was a pain but its gone now. I can actually see out the windows at nite now. finished wiring up my stereo setup. Now I just gotta hope I dont devolp this dreaded rod knock I keep reading about lol.

unless he sold it a couple years ago and lives in north carolina I HIGHLY doubt it lol, I got it from a buddy that got it from a guy named jesse who had it for a couple years, but never know, and hopefully by valentines day it wont be yellow no more lol

MelloYellow sold the supra off quite a while ago (6+ years, man that time went flying by!). Last I heard it was sold from CT (where he lived) to somewhere south.

Have any pictures of the engine bay?

He used to call it the Yellow Toilet. lol

Nah no engine bay shots, its just dirty and Maroon, door jambs and hatch jambs are also maroon, and the paint was done by macco cuz theres overspray EVERYWHERE, Has a blue turbo smart Vee port BOV as the only underhood mod and a cone style filter, nothing extravigant. It was also automatic when Jesse got it.

Yea jesse Is/Was a complete idiot, it had yellow headlight bulbs that SUCKED and when I went to changed them out of the 16 bolts/screws i had to remove to get the covers off 7 WERE NOT stripped, the rest were chewed up pretty bad, I was cussing jesse the entire time lol

Not sure if im keeping it yet, But I am going to give it some time and see how it goes, If it goes bad I'll be selling it to buy me another b13 SE-R and some upgrades for it and/or my civic hatch. Not really a RWD kinda guy but something about MK3s(only supras I really like) and FC rx7s, really tickle my fancy, I also like some ae86 hatchbacks and s13 hatchbacks but they are too expensive for their lack of performance out of the box.

yeap 89-93 (well 94 is s13 too but only comes in convertable) But like I said too expensive, for the price of a decent condition 240(if you can fid one that is) I could almost buy a nice upgraded FC or MK3 and since they are REAL sports cars and not an econobox with a big motor lol They will perform better. But I really do like the 10 million way adjustable drivers area on the mk3 its just the car kinda intimidates me with the list of common problems they have and me not knowing ANYTHING about toyotas. But I am learning alot because I've been reading like crazy here on the forums, Theres alotta good information on here and my hat goes off to those of you who have made this forum the informational cornucopia that it is. Now off to go read some more on suspensions
