old lady vs deer.

well the wife was drivin the car that i worked SOOOO hard to get together and a deer runs out in fron of her last night luckly theres only one dent and its in the front driver side fender. kinda scary tho. the deer was dead tho. damn toyota totaled the deer lol

Though I don't think that dent can be popped out so easily. looks like the metal has a crease or two.

it did. she "said" she was doing about 55 and out of the woods he came and BOOM. lol but i doubt she was doin 55 cuz for one my speedometer dont work and 2 shes a lil speed demon in MY car of course. lol

Thanks. IJ and thanks everyone else too im happy shes ok but im sad because i spent soooo much damn time on this forum and fixing my car to just have to turn around ad do it again lol i know its just a fender but damn i feel like i fix something and BOOM something else goes. but for an 800$ car i cant complain. it ran and its 5 speed and its turbo and not a single dent in the body besides the damn deer.

Cars can be repaired/replaced, people not so much

just keep in mind "it's just a car"

People have the wrong idea when they say the Mk3 is a tank, it has a LOT of mass so it will do a lot of damage when it hits anything but there is nothing inherently "Strong" about them and they're no safer in a high speed accident than any other car (read as go fast hit something solid and die)

The "Mass" can work against you in a panic situation as well as the car will want to continue in the exact direction it was headed and can be a bitch to catch even when expected.
