Saturday night approximately 11PM I successfully broke one of Greensboro PD's breathilizer units.
I was taking this girl home after meeting a few friends at the local bar/restaurant.
I had (2) beers.
While driving down High Point road, we come up on a DUI check point.
The officer came to my window and asked: "Good evening sir. Have you had anything to drink tonight?"
**Knowing I was sober, I decided to have fun.**
Me: "YUP!!"
Officer: "Would you mind taking a breathilizer to make sure you're safe to drive?"
Me: "DEFINITELY."
He pulls my truck into the parking lot there where they're conducting the tests... there must have been 20-30 people there getting arrested for drunk driving.
The officer puts on a breathilizer shield (or whatever you call it), that looks like a funnel and holds it up to my face.
Before I blow into the thing, I take a moment to stretch.
Touched the ground, twisted side to side, and stretched my neck.
The officer looked at me like (oh... wtf is this shit.)
So I take a deep breath, and blow as hard as I could into the machine.
.... the nozzle on the thing goes flying off into the parking lot, and the cop goes running after it screaming "Bossman is going to kill me if I break this thing!"
So he comes back looking at the device when I asked; "So... am I tanked?"
To his rebuttal: "Have a good night sir."
