Have you checked your timing? If I understand what your saying, it sounds exactly like what mine did when I forgot to tighten the tensioner bolt and the timing belt jumped a few teeth. Easy to check anyway.

yes this engine is freshly rebuilt and I defiantly don't want it to blow up so i triple checked everything.

ok so when i was doing my CPS what I did was set my valves to Top dead then after seting that i turned the engine to 10* and set my CPS inline with the bottom sensor. Please let me know if i did this right because if i did then I know that i need an O2 sensor. I checked over all my pipes again and nothing

^ I always found it much easier to set everything at TDC then adjust the CPS so that the mark is at 10' when the light flashes. Have you checked it w/ a timing light? You could be a tooth off or something. Maybe you're better at setting it like that than I am, I dunno.

and remember, if it seems like you need more adjustment, the CPS can be 180* out... to alleviate, remove the cps, spin the gear 180* and reinstall. voila, more adjustment.

yea i pulled it off an reinstalled it three times because it didnt look right but checking it with a timing light is prob. not a bad idea thanks for the help guys. witch sensor is the water temp to the dash it not working and it might be because i had to rewire a few that broke off

anyway now im throwing a code 11 i cant find on the tsrm where the codes are could someone tell me ether where it is are what a code 11 is?
