Ok I need help fast lol

Ok well I'm almost done with my new 7m drop in, but I can't figure out where two wires and this hose run. Ok, so the wires, I'm guessing go together,maybe not, go from the battery terminals somewhere. The tube runs from the underside of the lower intake. It's actually on the intake. heres some pics, please help me out!

if i remember right the bottom picture, it goes to the top of the intake manifold. either that or these's a place right under the intake runner where it goes.

My guess on the top picture, it goes to the alternator.

Just check under the manifold and i really wanna say if you don't have a power wire to the alternator that, that's it.

but let me know what you come up with.

Either alternator or a big ground wire. Mine has a big ground wire on the intake side.

This is the tech forum and your telling him it may be a pos for the alt or a ground...awesome advie so what is he suposed to put it on the alt and see if it catches fire.

Keep guesses to yourself.

I can't tell what it is cause the picture sucks. So I will keep my "guess" to myself

That is no ground, if your B+ is already at the starter (which this may be), then this goes to the alternator. As for the coolant hose going through the lower intake manifold; I believe this is the coolant resource for the Idle Step Control motor....

<<-----in my car (I just checked) the battery cable with the thick black ring around goes to my starter and the other one "looks" the ground that goes to the block, but I can't it it that well in your pic.

And the coolant hose coming out of the lower intake manifold goes to the ISC.

Nothing wrong with helping narrow it down, hence the "or". I never said it exactly went to the ground or to the alternator.

I'm susprised I had to say somethin I usualy don't. But somethin about either a pos for the alt or ground was just way to unsafe of a guess.

110% correct.

I had the same problem, a long time ago. It is always nice not to guess.
Car fires are fun right? Heck no, thank god I have never had to encounter any.

Thanks everyone, it was the ground to the block and the starter wire. I had something hooked up wrong but was able to figure it out,lol. The hose does go to the ISC, and thanks for the helpful links. She's up and running, just can't seem to get enough fuel now,lol.
