I'm geting a 1jz installed next month, and was contemplating what to do with the 2 spare ct26's I have.

It seems it would be very easy to use the stock twin manifolds and make an adapter to fit two ct26's in there. Both facing forward. It would be cheap to do since I have the extra turbos and welding is not a problem for me.

Your thoughts?

stupid idea. ;lol
Nah, i think its not worth the effort, but I guess if you can do it yourself its cool to be different.

1 thing to remember are the CT26's in good enuff shape to waste the time and money?
2 thing is can you visualize the spool on 1 ct26 per 3 cyls on a 2.5l?
I am thinking it wont be ideal.

#1 is not a problem, I always waste time stupidly.

#2 yeah, I think it would be a lag monster, but I would love to see twin polished toyota compressor housings under the hood. Maybe I could use the smaller altrac turbos.

I have been thinking about putting a upgraded ct26 on a 1jz for a while, gonna do that sometime. If you can make 400whp on a 3L 7m, should be no problem on a 1jz. Twin ct26's would be way too much though, might as well go with a T88 :biglaugh:

its going to lag like no other but its nothing a little anti-lag cant fix at 7000rpm's. also the efficiency of the ct26 sucks.

If I had the money to sink into anti lag, I would have enough to buy two turbos that fit the bill a lot better.....
