I happen to do a unintentional test of how hot your oil temps get while driving. My oil cooler got a hole and I needed to odred a replacement. So I drove around for a while without a cooler. This got me to thinking that maybe I need a temp switch just to see how things are without a cooler.:nono: I installed my oil temp switch, and discovered oil temps up to 220 while driving mildly and 260 while driving briskly.:aigo: I got my cooler and mounted it in between the AC condenser, and the intercooler. This bought my oil temps down to 205-210 dgrees. When the weather got cool, or it rained my temps fell to about 180 in the rain and when cool 195. This lead me to believe that I wasnt getting enough air flow, and that my cooler may need to go back under the drivers head light. Sooo...I ordered a new hood as some of you may know, which has vents in it. My oil temps fell to 195-205 degres. I decided to order a bomex big mouth replica nose, and CSF aluminum radiator, and mounted them yesterday ,and now my oil temps never go over 195 degrees. While driving the oil temp is 180-185 degrees, and while driving briskly never goes over 195.:naughty: :biglaugh:
