oil questions!

so i blew my turbo before winter and just put a new one on recently, when my turbo blew all the oil draned and blew out in smoke outa the exhaust, when i took my intercooler pipe leading to the turbo a bunch of oil also spilled out, do i need to flush out the intercooler at all? if so, how? how many quarts ,and weight of oil is good for the 7mgte? id appreciate all the help! thanks

Yes flush all the IC piping or just think this is a reason to upgrade to a big shiny front mount.

And I always kept atleast 6qts in my 7m.

I like Castrol European Formula 0W-30 (aka German Castrol).

You want to run 1 quart over the full mark on the dipstick.
