yeah the line is off and i'm using the starter to crank the motor. no oil
i never took the oil pan off though.
i had the lines backwards. i hate to admit that, but i guess everyone makes a mistake now and again. hopefully this wasn't a really expensive one. now that i switched the lines back i had hoped it was going to work. no go.
i tried getting oil to come out of the line going to the filter as well as the port for the oil pressure sending unit. not a drip.
the only thing is there is oil in the oil cooler, so it had to work at some point.
i figure the next step is to pull the motor apart and check on the pump.
