oil pump question

hey guys, after much searching i finally have a question. I'm in the middle of building my motor and cant figure out if i want to put a oem oil pump in or a toga high volume oil pump. quick back ground, shootin for 550-600rwhp ish, fully forged internals, ect. thank you guys for any help!!

they are the same from my understanding.
all are aisin.

stock pump shimmed is the only real upgrade.

thats what i remembered, but i just want to make sure, its been over a year sence ive been around(work,bought a house) and was searching and couldnt find anything on the subject. just gettin back into the swing of things and tryin to see if anything has changed.

Get an OEM pump (Aisin), make sure it's for a turbo motor (the gearing is different from the NA), and shim the relief valve 4-5mm. Get rid of the stock filter head and switch the cooler system to a full flow, thermostat controlled circuit. That will go a long way keeping your motor happy with oil flow ;)

cool, thank you guys very much. i read that post before and already planned on doing that. but i was just wondering if it would be worthwhile to get the "high volume" pump. sounds like i'll just be doing the regular pump.
