Im about to be in that area of the motor, I wanna replace my oil pump. Is getting a used one from someone on here a safe idea or is that just dumb? I CAN get a new one but for $200 its steep. Are there parts I can replace to make mine like new?

Im not too savvy about this part of the car, enlighten me, please.

The Togo pumps are marketed as a high volume pump...it's really just a std output pump. They work fine, but don't pay a premium for it.

Jay Marks Toyota, Titan, HPF, PM me, and I am sure 3 or 4 other "Supra" parts online sites sell them.

Get it from Toyota. Jay Marks is a good choice, or a number of other dealers also sell stuff cheaper online. For a new N/A oil pump from a dealer, you're looking at about $165.
