I gave up long ago and at some point so will you. The funny thing is you'll eventually come full circle and realize it really doesn't matter. You could run the cheapest SL or SM dino oil you can buy, changed at 4-5K, and the engine would likely outlast the car. The details only matter if you want that little bit of "extra". It's all good stuff to know but the Zen of oil knowledge is understanding the entire thing is mostly in our heads
