Oil pressure gauge. What bar/psi do you have?

I'm looking at getting an oil pressure gauge for my 1JZ-GTE but I can't work out (from all my hours in google) what bar gauge to get!? Everything I'm looking at has different answers and no steady results. I will be fitting the sender to where the dummy light switch currently is.
If you have an oil pressure gauge, what range of pressure does it show (i.e. 0-5 bar or 0-10 bar)?
And what are your running psi's (cold start, warm start and driving)?

I need steady results!

So the psi drops when it warms up? Is that because the oil is thicker when it's cold creating higher pressure?
I'm looking at VDO gauges to match the rest of mine. All the VDO gauges are either 0-5bar (0-80psi) or 0-10bar (0-150psi).

yep, though need to be careful with hose or wireing that you dont get to close to the manifold, or they will melt and not work, or empty the crankcase into the engine bay

0>80 will do the job you have a few options where to mount the sender.

As luck would have it I'm not at home (In Sydney for a couple of days) or I'd link the pic I did with all the ports marked .

I have a 0-100.. using 10w-40 in FL IIRC

summer climate

start up: ~60psi
warm idle: ~20psi
cruise: ~40psi

winter climate

start up: ~80psi
warm idle: ~23psi
cruise: ~50psi

haha, I didn't think it looked right. I'll still probably just use the oil switch location. Find a sender with connection for the gauge and light.

That's the accuracy I'm looking for! Thanks!
