Haha I was wondering why you were giving me all those specs that I've never heard of!! Lol

Well I'll be changing the filter tonight and see if that dies anything. I wish I knew if this just started or has been the whole time, but I was busy watchin my boost, AFR, RPMs and the road to see what my oil pressure was under WOT. Lol

the line going into the bottom of that pan is not needed if you are running a full flow system, get rid of that stock adapter get yourself a n/a nipple, and then the proper line adapter for the side of the block, then a proper filter adapter which you can put wherever you like, most people put them under one of the foglights so oil changes are much easier :). IIRC that stock line that you blocked off only allows oil through with around 40PSI of oil pressure to the cooler, so oil is only getting cooled at higher rpms.

If the sandwich plate doesn't have a t stat id get one with one.

Also how much oil is in your system? For the engine you should always have a qt over so about 6qts and then the cooler an lines should be about another .5-1 qt.

Well I put about 5 in on a refill. But I always check my dipstick and make sure it's above the full line. I pretty much get the whole oil reader thing in oil. So I'd say prolly 6 total.

So that port for the oil cooler line isn't needed if I already have my cooler lines on the sandwich plate? Cause right now mine is just capped off. (how previous owner did it)

So I absolutely need to get rid of the elbow? It doesn't look like I will be able to get it to fit with how my manifold sits there.

Why do I need to get rid of it?

Could I just shim the oil cooler relief valve so that is pretty much can't open? So it's just using the filter and the sandwich plate provides my oil cooler??

this is how my setup is. Its the best pics i could get. There is no room to switch it to the NA fitting and delete the elbow. The way this XS Power manifold is, the sandwich plate wouldnt clear it or even the oil filter if i got the sandwich plate on.

So im just going to try the oil change now i guess. I HATE getting my oil filter off. Its such a pain in the ass with my IC setup and the fact that it sits lower because of the sandwich plate so its hard to get a grip. i always have to end up tapping a screwdriver through so i can get some leverage on it.

Ill end up reblocking the oil relief valve port and just see what happens. Thats pretty much all i can do without buying a different manifold setup. Im using another Supertech because i cant seem to find a WIX or Pureone around me right now. And i need my car, so i cant be waiting on shipping or anything.

Ok so I changed the oil and filter... And I gave it a little in 2nd and the oil pressure stayed at about 37 psi and was climbing a little bit. So I think I fixed it!!

I'll let you guys know how the pressure is when I drive it more.

So it coulda just been a clogged oil filter then??

My oil pressure sensor fitting at the block was loose to, so maybe it was just shooting out of there causing the lowering pressure?

With the stock elbow and the stock oil cooler port blocked off all the oil just goes to your oil filter. Shouldnt be a problem.

Lol results were that it was indeed fixed. Oil pressure stayed at about 36 and was climbing to 40.

But an oil line popped off spilling 3+ quarts of oil on the ground. Right as I looked under my car and saw what was happening, I turned my car off and saw that the oil pressure at 2k rpm (cold start up) was just coming down to 10 psi. There was no oil on the dipstick at all. :( so I have rodknock now.

But at least it's in the winter there's no cars out worth racing now anyways. So build number 3 for me now I guess. Lol next year will be sick!

Ihope I can just replace the bearings as it only has about 2000 miles on it.
Thanks!
