Oil / Plugs Question

hey guys i know this might be something really simple, but lately I've been getting a little oil around my back spark plug. It causes it to miss a little, so i take out the plug and wipe it off, it works for a while but there is still some oil around it, i can't tell if it's more or the same old oil. What do you guys think this could be? To much oil....bhg....I'm stuck.

They are cheap gaskets

I agree it is the valve cover, however the gasket may not be the only issue.

You'll need to replace the stock bolts with some upgraded ones and some thread locker.

There are some threads out there that discuss this, pardon the pun.

oh, I just ordered the gaskets for toyota.....they were 12$ a piece.

ace hardware if you have it, stainless... can't recall pitch and size offhand sorry

thanks for the picture...I work at a lowes so i'll just take the old ones in to size them up.

just remember when you put the new ones in dont crank them down really hard or else they can strip or seize when you want to take them out....

Use the blue permatex thread lock....., not the red it's permanent. The blue isn't.
