i removed my afm last night and noticed there was some sludge/oil in the accordion hose. there was also a little oil on the lip of the turbo. its a ct26 but it seems to be in really good shape it boosts great sounds great and very very little shaft play. does the pvc system throw any oil back that way i thought it all got sucked into the intake mani? oh and i haven't noticed any smoke either.

Its normal. Notice that the PCV pipes on the valve covers route into the accordian. During boost its probably sucking it in pretty good.

Well have you followed the large 3 holes on the accodian hose? I bet one of them supply vac to something that plugs into the valve covers and possibly sucks up some oil from there ..... Thats why people run oil catch cans to avoid that

i did notice that i was just under the impression that the vacuum sucked it into the intake mani, never crossed my mind that under boost it would be the opposite:nono: glad i dont need a new turbo though!

The intake mani is pressurized under boost and its a big vaccum in the accordian so it flows toward the turbo under boost
