I changed the plugs out last night and they were covered in oil...
Almost like there was a lake of it floating above the plugs!!!

It wasnt so bad on cylinder 5 and 6 but 1-4 were horrible!!!

What does this mean???
BHG??? :1zhelp: :1zhelp: :1zhelp: :1zhelp:

That you need to change your valve cover gaskets and torque the covers to spec ;)

I find it odd that the oil didn't run downhill and end up on 5 and 6. When my valve covers gaskets were screwed, 5 and 6 were soaked and the rest were fine.

Depends on where it's leaking from...the wells closest to the leak fill first ;)

NAPA sells the gaskets (comes w/ grommets too)

In Phoenix, go to Ace Hardware look for 6mmx1mm, 27mm long stainless hex cap heads...these look nice.
Get inside star washers for between the bolt head and grommet to keep them from backing off again.

You're welcome ;)

BTW - the torque for the valve cover bolts is 22 in/lbs (NOT ft/lbs!).
