I probably already know the answer from searching around the forums. But I just had to vent a little I guess.
I have been trying to chase down all the leaks in my Supra. It has leaked every type of fluid their is. First injector seals were bad, then cam cover gaskets leaked oil, then power steering pressure hose was bad, blew coolant plug, and I was in the process of changing out the cam seals. And of course I broke a thermostat housing bolt!!!!:3d_frown:
(Oh and it has an exhaust leak because of a missing stud!! Good thing I love working on cars!!!)
So I took off the CPS and notice that their is oil inside under the cap. The o-ring looks fine (I will replace it anyway). But oil inside worries me a little from the searching on the forum. Looks to be somewhat a common problem. But only fixed via a new CPS or rebuilding one. Looks a little complicated and scary to do to your one and only CPS.
For now i'm going to replace the o-ring and monitor it to see if it still leaks. Probably will!!
