I took off my intake manifold, and I see a good amount of oil. How much oil is supposed to be in the intake manifold. I thought there was supposed to be none at all. One of my friends just had his motor rebuilt. $7,000 gone into the motor, after 2 days of running, the everything had to be taken apart again and it looked like it had been running for 100,000 miles. Is this how our cars are supposed to look on the inside?
Heres a pic of the intake plenum... Keep in mind that my turbo seals are no good.
And... Im still trying to remove the fuel line from the fuel return on the rail. I cant it out. How did you guys get it out? Did you use a 17mm with a 1/2" ratchet, or should I use a breaker bar or something..
Heres a pic:
