oil feed/drain to turbo on na block

i am using an NA block for my block and i'm looking for the correct place to tap into for the oil feed and drain, i have the appropriate lines and even a t-fitting, i just need names and pics would help too, any help is greatly appreciated,

Most commonly, the oil pressure sending unit port is used, along with a t-fitting.

I don't have a pic, but if you look at your distributor, then look down about 8" and to the left, you'll see it. It has a large rubber cap on it, and it's a PITA to get to if you've never done it before. :)

no distributor, turbo head, turbo harness, turbo ecu, just na block cuz it was a free block i could have all the work done to and still have my car running

Stand in front of the exhaust side of the block. Look to the right of the oil filter almost where the power steering pump would be in that line. There should be a threaded port there. I had a blast changing mine with all the crap in the way IN THE CAR...

Yet again a kudos to MDC for helping me with some tips.

if your using a na block then you need a bsp to 1/8th npt adapter then use a all female 1/8 npt tee fitting. in this fitting use the stock oil pressure sender and hook up the feed line. ill post pictures and links later


for the drain you will either have to drill and tap the block where ian shows or you will need to weld a fitting in the oil pan as high as possible in the rear area by the sump. i cannot stress the importance of getting this fitting as high as possible enough

what is bsp and where can i get this? any pics? i think i have the 1/8npt tee fitting, this is rather small correct? thanks for all the help everyone!!!
p.s. is the oil pressure sender the little shiny tin looking thing?
