oil cooler cleaning

No, if it was a necessity for me to get a better quality cooler i would. You can make an argument either way, but I have seen people run without a cooler at all for years and be fine. So for me it was more about making sure my stocker is clean for now until i go for more power someday. I am more concerned with making sure my bearings have plenty of oil at all times. Im definately not one to risk losing everything for something stupid. Which again is the purpose of asking these questions and the reason my build is taking soooo damn long...And no T4 for me....Alberts 60-1 upgrade.

The stock cooler empties to the pan and robs your motor of oil. It's also required (you have oil pumping through a very hot turbo...and oil pressures are more important than coolant temperatures as the oil actually contacts the moving parts!)

Can someone point me in the right direction for upgrading my oiling system then. Simply getting a different oil cooler will still empty into the pan right? Is there a certain way people relocate our coolers and lines for the better?
