open up the ports on the valve cover and make sure the hose behind the alt. is not clogged as well. I never had oil coming out of mine (that i knew of) until i hit 5700rpms for the first time and it was a smoke show behind me. Dumped oil all over the turbo hot side. To much crank case pressure.

catch can didnt do shit either.

thanks for all the advice guys, I have two weeks off starting friday, so I'll definitely get it into my neighbor's (ASE certified mechanic ;) ) parking spot (we don't have drive ways, but he has his own in the alley) and get her fixed asap.

Have you already given Jose a call and asked him what it might be? He knows the history of the engine and it was taken care of by me with a lot of his recommendations. His shop moved closer to your area, so if he can't help over the phone, maybe he can go over to check it out.

It wasn't getting oil in the intake when I had it, the PCV system is stock, and the oil cooler lines were replaced. From the sounds of it, a gasket blew or oil line? I doubt the engine is done, The compression was 180 across the board, but make sure to have your mechanic do a compression test just to confirm. Hopefully, at the worst, the turbo is done. Was is whining at all?

Try degreasing the bottom side as Tire Shredder said, it helped me find the oil leak that was in the 7MGE.

nope turbo sounds fine and spools up like a champ. The car runs the way it should with no bogging or lack of power/overheating, ticking, etc. I did get that small puff of smoke everything now and then like you said. I'm putting my money on a gasket, but the weather doesn't help as I can't pop my hood without getting everything wet.

I've had to replace a few lines since the swap, so I'm putting my money on that.
