He's probably talking about the Super monitor...

as far as i know. my super monitor is a pain. & ive tried everything to make it work & the only thing i can reset is the MPG

It probably something stupid like turn the radio on, hit the brake three times and walk in a circle clockwise with your left eye closed while humming the star spangled banner.....
