I see so many of these hooked up WRONG......
People run hoses from both cam covers
to the 2 nipples on the catch-can.
When this is done, you have just made a closed system,
and the crank case no longer has a vent.
Crank case pressure will build to the point of causing seal failure.
(crank, cams, intermidiate shaft)
Lip seals are only good for 7-10 psi.
What I did, so that I could still run 2 seperate hoses from the cam covers,
was to drill & tap a 3rd hole in the top of the catch-can.
This lets me vent it.
You can run back to the throttle body,
or just vent it with a hose down past the bell housing
(old school), but this doesn't do as good of job.
When you run a catch-can, you get less residue in your throttle body/ intake manifold,
because much of it is stopping in the catch-can.
