so i am new to supramania ... just plan new to the supra world .. i am looking for my first supra and i am from ohio . The olny hard part right now is that i am over sea (afg) , but my dad is a big help ,he makes calls and is willing to go look for me . i just haven't had any luck at people calling me back or giving me there number .. i have pm people to and still no luck ... so hope to find the rigth supra for ... and i will see you guys on the steer's ... when i am home ...lol

Ah the army.....haha, I was in the marines I went to Kandahar and was in the Helmand Province. I was part of the reinsertion of the marines back in 08, Also been to Fallujah. There are some supra's around, just gotta dig deep ha. What part of ohio are you from?

Chris was a marine.. he was over seas for 11 months in 03-04

you need a JZ first.. then an AEM... anywhoo check driftmotion for your supra needs

Jonah we will be down tomorrow to get that, and turtle they are talking about a 1jz or 2jz. Honestly you can build a decent 7m for the money you would be spending on the swap, yea it's cool but go with what you want to do.

Turtle I would research on 7m and jz builds before buying a aem for a 7m when u may find you want big reliable power from a 2j

IMHO I don't like the thought of going from a 3.0 to a 2.5 liter
But that's my thought

i have been reading builds... for what i want the supra for 7m is the right motor .... using for a dd and road trips and some fun ... 330hp is my goal hp ....for now ...

thanks jonahs_supra .... i am trying to learn as much as i can ... arp studs are on my to do list... and my friend has a 87 turbo so he is helping me out to... i am going to put up a build list idea and get your guys input on it .... i hope the look at the supra on sat goes good and i will have it by monday ... and then build will start thanks for the help agein man ....i will put up the build list ideas soon just not done yet ......

Anyway jokes aside.. yes you are losing .5L BUT you a getting a better engineered motor all together.. if you do your research you shall see

now there are some silly people (greek) who always thought they were good motors.. didn't believe they all spun bearings and what not.. until he did it (lol)... they CAN be built decently but a decent motor will not satisfy me. Esp. because mine are both basically going to be track cars that can be drove on the street. The 7m has a lacking oil system and large forces on rod bearings.. of course everyone knows of the headgasket problem which normally means the head and block need a good machining to be good

a 300hp 7m would be cheap and easy though.. i don't want to discuss how much money has been put in ours and they don't even drive yet

Shipped my celica alltrac and parts car supra off today...then found out my nice supra has a fucked up title lol

Title is from 91...guy had a lien on the title for a mortgage
Well there's 2 different legal stamps on title that read "lien cancelled"
But I guess that's not good enough
So now I gotta call a bank that was bought out by jpmorgan years and have them fax me the paper work showing all is well...that's if the banks records go back that far lol

Also zach as always it was fun yesterday doing 90 in the 35 like speed racer lol
