Offset question not covered yet

I've been searching all morning. Couldn't find any info on my question.

I would like at least a 275 tire. It seems you can fit low offsets. I've seen a few pictures. Now here's this:

10" +22 offset wheel for the rear. It will probably stick out too much, BUT can it me machined 8mm to 10mm???

Could have put this in the sticky.. any ways... depending on the wheel you can take some material away. Personally I wouldn't do it though.. and for fitting a 10" and a 275 you need a +35 or more offset

if you were to roll your fenders maybe. I am running 18x9.5 +30 in the rear and it fits, barely. I'm with Borhor on this one, machining a rim = bad.

Again, it really depends on the rim. However I dont think you are gonna be able to take enough off a 10" +20 to fit under the fenders.

10 +20 is easy to fit under the fender. The 275 tire is the issue.

Machining the rim is fine in some case, since a lot of rims are adjusted for offset this way from the factory...

Agreed. Machining the wheel is crazy sketchy. I mean.. 5 bolts holding up the car in such a small spot.. I wouldn't want to weaken that at all. It is not like it is hard to find a 10" wheel that can fit with a 275.

Thanks for the info guys. I actually prefer a +35 and above offset on a 10" wide.

I didn't search enough, but I didn't see a wheel almost identical to this one in a higher + offset...anyone???
