Nope, by the time I got to the track I had about 200-220 miles on it. Launched @ 3-4k each time. No problems as of yet, we will see in the long run.

Wastegate spring FTL! My best pass since its already out there was a 12.5@ 120 but I spent a good 1 second seraching for my second gear But I've fixed that probelm so I should see 11's easily now!

O and we got plenty of footage of mkiii's well upload later Even of a mkiii workin a mkiv!

I heard something about a 13.9 @ 101 or something from Eli I'm not sure though! I was gonna keep my shitty times on the DL till I fixed the car but o well!

Im just disappointed that we didnt have more MKIIIs show up this year... I have a good excuse, Im not towing a shell tot eh meet... But with all this talk about all the MKIIIs goin and all the big power MKIIIs, and big turbos, and all the talk, from what I red, there were only TEN MKIIIs there and only ONE dyno'd... 10? Thats it? Where were the rest?

i had 550's lex afm full 3in exhaust intake and spec stage 3 and i went 13.4@104 consistently on 235 45 17 shitty bridgestones!!!

Yea all that talk and I was the only one to back it up and the tampa/F&H guys were the main mk3's to show up.... This meet was serious weaksauce compared to the orlando meet! But we did our own thing and had a good time! We had about 8 of us sat night and then like 5 to the track! And I whooped up on a mkiv !

Theres a few of us who always go cruising, this weekend wasnt what I expected. So many mk3's locally didnt even show. I wish I could have put some times and numbers down with my car, but it just wasnt ready. No point in posting low numbers, and someone bashing me for doing the swap and just having those numbers without actually knowing much about the car.

Thats the sad part. Once you do an engine swap, you get flamed if it doesnt make those numbers. Not that I care really, I built the car to enjoy, and it moves for what it is. I just wanted to avoid a flame thread before it happened.

so far i've been lucky on the money situation and it looks like i have a 95% chance of holding on to my grey shell

and just found out my wifes pregnancy was a false alarm so 2J MK3 is still in full effect as of right now YAY :)

yea.. but seriously.. thats how its always been and always will be..

I didnt make it cause my car wasn't done, nor didn't head over there with my white car cause I ran into problems, and still felt sick so stayed home..

and big power (500+) mkiiis.. what are there 2-3 that were comimng .. you, F&h, osofast7m or wahtever his name was.. other 'big singled' cars, kelly, brad, drbowser (upgraded ct, maybe something new?) maybe a few other tampa people i dont know about.. thats about it.. Most showed.. F&H layed it down.. others chose not too..
