Officer Murdered by driver of supra

I saw this video last night, and thought about posting it up, but I was too lazy...:icon_razz.

But it was really shocking to see that...I was like "whoa, a Supra" and then the guy pulls out a gun and starts shooting the cop .

and yes, the dude made a huge mistake. what was he gonna do after he pepper sprayed him? just think he's a badass and drive away? i dont get what he was going to do, the cop dosent RUN away, he walks away like nothing happend? truely what was the cop going to do? he didnt draw his gun to get him out of the car, he didnt pull the guy out of the car.?

I think the thread that MDC posted about the story may have something to do with that. There seems to be history between these two guys - so who knows. Perhaps this cop isn't totally above board, again there's no way to judge that with the information that is out there.

As far as the cop being dumb, again - it's just rude to be so curt about someone who has just died. You don't know him, but his life has just ended. He may have been a father, brother, son, etc. You know, shit happens. Even the best of us makes mistakes. Calling him dumb is akin to saying "he deserved it".

I don't know anybody that has gone through life without getting complacent or making mistakes from time to time. Respect that.

Yea, thats what I was thinking. I have this strange feeling that the cop was being a hard ass. Like before had it out for this other dude. The guy said stop 3 times, and the cop kept pushing. The kenny guy even had his hands out, and the cop just sprayed him. Like WTF, he had no reasonable cause to stop the car like that.
I'm not going to say either was in the right, but I'm deff. not going to call the cop a hero on this on, some of the stuff seems unjustified. I've never seen a police video with a cop just spraying someone, and walking away. It makes you think this cop was being an asshole.

It says he pulled him over one time. For plates, the guy had an agreement with the county to have any other officer but this mcay guy, check up on him. The Mecay guy knew this, why did he call back up and stay in his car?
Sounds like to me he was trying to push this guys button.

I wonder if he walked away because some of the pepper spray got him? It was a BIG burst, a little wind and it could have gotten into the cops eyes? I dont know just an idea why he would turn away. Almost looked like a reaction to getting hit with a little pepper spray.???

Either way reading the story it sounds like these 2 were going to get into something like this eventually.

^^I've got all sorts of opinions on it, but will keep 'em to myself.

The only thing I will mention is that like in the service, those cops are usually trained on using the weapons they use and it's effects. The cop woulda known what it feels like and how to react/mitigate it's effectiveness. Not just walk away and clear their head/thoughts, turn their back, and let the "perp" react to it.

i heard about this. the cop was shot 4 times & killed then he got ran over. really sucks but still the cop goes
up to the car all stupid with his terminator glasses. then he sprays the dude way too long and turns his back like "yup,
thats wassup". next thing you know BRAKAAA he's on the ground bleeding.. Also a bystander in a car stopped by in front of the guy in the mk2 & im not sure but they say that guy killed him. (verify me if im wrong)
