I think that would span into other sections and yes, be a nightmare for you all. People would get into huge flame-wars and quirrels in this unmoderated section and whenever those 2 people posted in the same thread in another section the flame-war would continue there.
Yea bad Idea IMO, I mean I got involved in a small dispute in a moderated section which schaeff i believe closed and I had apologized and it continued to escalate so yea I am totally against a flame section, its pointless anyways, ya want drama hit up yahoo chat

Something to keep in mind is the following: I think Mike directed this thread towards people complaining about OT content, not about people posting content. Don't think that you can just post whatever you want, yes we let a LOT more slide in here, but if I think something will cause tension, name-calling, or leak out of this forum and affect other parts of the site, I will close, delete, edit, or do what needs to be done.
Your Jeezy thread was flamebait, whether you intended it to be or not. I was offended, not enough to say anything or whatever, but because I found it to be slightly inappropriate, I know there are people who will find it much more so, so I closed it.
We have a lot of fun in here, and a lot of stuff goes, but if us mods feel like something doesn't belong, it gets closed. If you have a good reason that it should be opened, feel free to PM us and explain yourself, most thread closures are up for discussion.

I second what Jeff said about the Jeezy thread...and I felt that leaving the pick there would only allow someone to see it, get bent over it, and start another thread etc etc...
If you folks have questions or concerns about the moderators choice in an action simply and POLITELY...ask them in a PM...I say politely becuase if you come at us in an angry tone, we simply won't listen to whatever you have to say valid as it may be.

Actually if you look at Off-Topic in the forum list it says (and has said for a long time):
"Read the rules first, then have fun. (Warning - may contain posts offensive to some readers. If you are easily offended, this is not the forum for you....)"
I think the only way it could be more obvious is if I named the section "Mother piss bucket monkey fucking off god damned topic".
But it's hard to say, and it would look kind of funny...
