Part of the problem with this community and meets like that, BIG fuckin meets like that is: we NEVER represent... NEVVVVER! I love ya Denny, but, 400hp is a joke at meets like that... When you got MKIVs puttin out 1000, 1100, 1200, 1400+ hp... Every year, you get a list as long as my arm of guys who are gunna show up and prove something, and every year, you get one or two guys who commit and do it... I know I cant talk too much shit, Im not there, I didnt show up, I didnt compete, etc... But I never said I would... Its the cats who say they will and never do that Im talkin about... I just want ONE year for a group of nasty fuckin MKIIIs to show up and represent... We will never get the respect we deserve until we show them what we can really do...

I see Reign's point. The MK3's with the high HP numbers should be there to show off a bit. Do they not go because they think they are not in the same class as the MK4's? Or is there a lack of MK3's that have 600+ hp?
If I had a 600+ MK3 I dont see myself not going to as many events as I could get to? It would be great to be diffrent. I think a 600, 700, 800 hp 7M would really get some attention. Well I hope to see more at the shows.
If I had my wish: me *done*, Nate, Duane and Bryan would be there at Texas WITH our cars... Reppin the 7M...

it's like getting a MKIII to break 10's at the TX meets, many say they will, but none have...
SILV seems to be the place for the MKIII to shine, but you guys need to come a bit more south and put up a fight.
I can't as of yet, once I get a new job and if I'm getting paid enough maybe. But I got a wedding to plan and finding a place to live with her as well.
She also needs a new car, so that puts my car on the back burner...

the mkiii will never get the attention a mkiv will. Its newer and more popular, and better in nearly every way.

I can agree that its newer and more popular. Thats why I said that it will pull the "generic" croud, meaning the off the street car fan in general. I think a true SUPRA fan can see the good in both cars. I believe "better" is more a personal prefrence then a fact.
