i was wondering what ohm/watt resistor i would need to remove the stock o2 sensor and put the resistor in the heater wires to make a code not pop up? same for the egr vsv to remove the egr. what resistor shold i put in its place. thanks

WTF?! As hvyman said your ECU needs the O2 input. Furthermore, the VSV stands for vaccum switching valve and does not even have an electrical connector. IDK what your trying to accomplish but if you going to do retarded things like ditch your O2 sensor you might as well just yank your CEL bulb.

sorry i meant to say i am using the zt-2 widebands narrowband output as the stock 02. i broke my stock o2 sensor and instead of buying the new one i am trying it out. but i need a resistor in place of the heater wires to satisfy the ecu.

The vsv's do have an electrical connector under the intake manifold and go to the ecu.

As i recall i dont remember a wide band working correctly with the stock ecu but maybe some one else will know for sure as ive never tried it.

well the zeitronix outputs a narrowband signal just lock a sock signal, but the ecu will not know the difference

NB emulation usually works OK although I don't recommend it for other reasons.

I've posted the O2 resistor stuff before. About 1 amp is required and a TO-220 thick film package works well. Heat sink it to the body if needed.

EGR needs to have the temp sensor input fooled (not the VSV) but it's only on Cali cars. That resistor value has also been posted but since I think people who defeat emissions equipment suck you'll have to dig for it...

They have a simulated narrowband output. From what I recall they're somewhat slow causing issues...
yeah i am doing this because mine is broken and i might as well try out the zeitronix output. i can also play with the switching point to see if i could squeeze out a few mpg's. if it doesn't work well i could always just throw a new sensor on there.

thanks!!! but for the egr since i dont have a cali car i can just leave the vsv unplugged with no resistor?

No can read? If someone else wants to help you dump NOx into the air and possibly blow up your engine fine but I won't.

I'll help you with the O2 though. Go here. Use 14.5 volts and 1 amp to find resistance. Then use that value to determine power.

Then go here. Look for something near the resistance and power you need in either wirewound or thick film:
