When I tune I charge $150 per hour (dyno time included). If he's offering a flat rate of $500 to tune a supercharger conversion, that's actually not bad. Those cars are a notorious pain in the ass to get a stable A/F on.
Ed's reputation proceeds him as well, you'd be hard pressed to go wrong letting him do the job.
There are other injector options out there. Thunder Racing has the Delphi/Lucas 37 lb injectors for $332.
I'm sure if you shop around you'll find them for less.
That's only $41 per injector - compared to what us import people pay, that's damned near free...
