OOH, check for a slipped crank pully. It could be that your timing reads fine, but it's fubarred from a slipped pully...
Fuel pressure guage while the problem is happening...

Pull #1 plug bring the piston up on the compression grab a piece of fuel hose a foot long and drop it in the plug hole then turn the motor till it's as high as it can get then look where the mark is to confirm that it's at 0.

Try this...If it is at zero, then make sure the cam marks are also at the top marks.. :)

Well the timing was dead on, but........well I was checking the CPS and had the intake off, I noticed that my IC pipe had popped off the turbo :O I hadn't even thought to check it because I remembered when I put it on I tightened the hose clamp up as tight as it would go......

...ahhh...yes....the hose clamp.....turns out somehow I grabbed a hose clamp that was too big. It was tightened as tight as it would go but not tight enough to hold the IC pipe onto the turbo so it just blew it of. So I pulled it out and put in a smaller one, and viola! the car runs like a dream.

Thanks to everyone you threw out ideas as to what it could be, I can't thank everyone enough for the help to get the car running :)

Yes Jake rocks!

Well so I got that all figured out, was out driving the car around. Then I came home and I wanted to wire up the light in my new gauge so I'll be able to see it tonight when I go out cruisn' and since the gauge is a mech. gauge the metal wire thing fell onto the alternator ground and burnt right through it. I know I have a cover for that ground somewhere, so I had to go buy a new gauge :(

Oh well the new gauge is all in and ready to go, just gotta wait till it gets dark to make sure the light is wired up properly.
