so im at a buddys house and his brothers friend comes over with his 05 Mustang GT and it like "whos piece of shit Supra is that outside?" i was just like mine motherfucker, this kid claims that my car is slow as fuck and a piece of shit, he is 17 and claims that he bought it himself and makes $60,000 to $120,000 in like 3 months because he's quote "good with comupters". Now i have an 89 Turbo Auto, with the mods in my sig and his is a stock 05 Mustang GT and doesnt shift very well, could i take him? stock 1/4 mile ET for those on a website i found is 13.5 ours is 15.2 but i have mods and minor weight reduction........

If it doesnt shift right you can take himt here as well. Get that turbo boostin and take him. He has the mid range power. You have top range with an EXTREMELY fast revving engine. Run it close to red.

There was a stock Mustang out at the strip a few weekends back, wasn't running anything close to a 13.5
I just wondering if u spent all the time and money to port the head and do the bore or whatever, why did u shim the wastegat and why to only 9 psi, I have a stock engine with a cheap manual boost controller from HKS and run 10psi and I beat an 06 GT and pulled well enough to stay within 3 cars of the rousch and my cars an auto so yea I'd say u outta take him, besides that stuff i got a k&n fipk, venom 400, Custom hard pipes with HKS BOV and HKS 3in dp and cat replace and a blitz NUR catback 3 in exhaust.
Also that stang owner sounds like a deuche bastard and similar to all those people who r spoiled pricks that I cannot stand so instead of racing just key his car, slit his tires, beat him to near death with your toyota supplied tire iron and call it a day, oh diesel or bleach in his tank would be lovely as well

Back to topic. I think you should take him. Mustang GT's aren't much of a challenge and this kid sounds like he can't drive, he'll probably spin the tires and then just play catch-up the rest of the race. Good luck.

the only thing your going to prove in any kind of racing is one of two things either more money is invested in 1 of the cars or one of the cars has the better driver... i like it when its the drivers that matter more fun that way. and try to keep the racing at the track anyway.
