what exactly is the off set of a wheel, and any other terminology for wheels. i am looking to buy wheels but never have done so before, so i dont know anything about any of this. help would be appreciated.:icon_bigg

nice, so if i got wheels that really had no lip and were almost flat with the outside rim of the wheel, that would be positive offset and not really good for a supra, or atleast wouldnt be out even with the fenders, correct?
in other words, the wheels i am looking at are 18x7.5 with a 40 offset, would these fill out to the fenders or be sucked into the wheel wells?
18x7.5 all around? You might want to go a little bigger in the rear. Unless you are getting a really good deal it would be worth your money to get at least 9"s in the back.
Might wanna look for a rim that is atleast 8.5" for the rear. If you really have a SP61GT your gunna want atleast 275's in the rear.

Correct. They would not look good. Stock offset on sawblades is about +35 IIRC. If you were to find wide wheels in that offset, for example 18x8.5 18x9.5
they would almost be flush.
^yeah thats why i wanted these one cuz they were really cheap. dammit i guess i really should find some wide ones and pay the big bucks. thanks guys.
