Its the angle trust me, you made me second guess and I went out there and looked, its straight. I had to take it at a funny angle as I turned the headlights on for light

Basically all I'm gonna do to this Cadillac until the show is deep cleaning! Gonna start with the interior, since I only drive it one day a week or so. Deep clean, get the seats cleaned nice. Polish all the chrome inside. make it look genuinely beautiful. Second thing I'll work on is under the hood. That department isn't really that bad for a 43 year old car. It isn't a show car, and I don't necessarily have any reason to pop the hood. but I can make it look alright, at least stock.
I'm actually going to attempt to wax the car before I put it in the show. Ill probably need to get a tent and make artificial shade as this car will take HOURS to completely wax. It shines just fine without wax, but It would make me feel great. Day before the show, I shall polish ALL exterior chrome and such. I'll probably take the skirts off and clean the tires the day before as well.
The show dates are May17 and 18. Its a countdown till then.

One thing thats been bugging me is that one of the headlights isn't original, its a sylvanyia replacement or something, but the other 3 are T3's(OEM lights) And they don't sell T3's anymore. my Impala has the sylvania replacements too so I gotta do some junkyard hoppin!

So I totally forgot the good guys car show was the last weekend of march. I gotta get shit ready FAST.
Last night I removed a few trim pieces and polished them with my Wenol :]
All I have left to polish chrome wise is the rear bumper, and everything in between, Ive done the front. Gotta get to the insides too. Today I'm gonna spend a while doing some inside polishing.

Here are some 1/3 progress pics. I still think the car isn't ready to show yet!
Super detail interior soon, Probably start momentarily. It needs a coat of wax still too. Finish polishin all chromez. small engine bay detail, its NO where worth show worthy, but little work will be cool

I think it looks show worthy, that car is hella clean. Just needs some wires and wide whites and it'll be perfect

wide white would look 10000 plus better
